Take what you like. Leave the rest.

Who are we?

Nora and Natalia met on the internet in 2016 and quickly formed a mutual admiration society which grew into a friendship and many conversations about life and loss and faith and God. They knew there was a need in the current cultural and political climate for a kind of Christianity that was not “THAT kind of Christian”. Add one great producer (Matthew Ian Fleming) to two hosts and a great idea - and Cafeteria Christian was born.

Over time they added author and pastor and LGBTQ advocate Emmy Kegler and she is now a regular co-host with Natalia. We also added local Diversity Equity and Inclusion Trainer and advocate Jesse Ross to the ranks of co-host, and he joins the podcast quarterly. Nora has since moved to Arizona and joins occasionally between recording her other podcast (Terrible Thanks For Asking), writing bestselling books and doing live shows. Together they have all worked to reclaim this pejorative for good, and to remind people that even when it comes to Christianity and faith, you can take what you like and leave the rest.
