Nora McInerny

Nora is an author, the host of Terrible, Thanks for Asking podcast and founder of Still Kickin, a non-profit in Minneapolis. She’s a remarried widow, and parenting four children and one dog baby in a blended household.

Emmy Kegler

Emmy is a Lutheran pastor and the founder of Queer Grace, an encyclopedia of online resources around LGBTQ life and faith. She lives in Saint Paul and enjoys biking, board games, books, and spending time with her wife Michelle and their two dogs and cat.

Natalia Terfa

Natalia is a Lutheran pastor and Professional Christian weirdo who lives in Minneapolis with her hubby, kiddo, and kitty baby. She loves to bake, to read, practice yoga, and spend time finding nature adventures.

Nora and Natalia met on the internet and quickly formed a mutual admiration society which grew into a friendship and many conversations about life and loss and faith and God. They knew there was a place in the current cultural and political climate for a kind of Christianity that was not “THAT kind of Christian”. So Cafeteria Christian was born. They are reclaiming this pejorative for good and reminding people that even when it comes to Christianity and faith, you can take what you like and leave the rest.

Alter Guild is a collective of podcasts that articulate a curious and progressive faith.
